Quaresso Protect On Q is the only on demand web browser information security solution to enable web applications and sites to control and protect users’ browser session content from theft or data leakage by malware or users, and the F5 BIG-IP LTM is an application delivery networking system that provides intelligent load balancing and traffic management as well as advanced application security, acceleration, and optimization. A Nebulas developed iRule has now been introduced to help integrate the F5 LTM with the Quaresso Protect On Q and help to move the armoured browser authentication and security up to the load balancing layer. As shown in the diagram below, when a website or application request is made, BIG-IP LTM intercepts it and sends it to the POQ Server for validation. If a POQ session ID does not exist, the BIG-IP LTM redirects the client to the POQ server. An armored browser is launched to create a temporary security wrapper to protect sensitive web sessions.
